Car has been aired out in mornings, on all 4 wheels, last few months.
Takes about 2-4 hours to happen but quickly inflated again upon start-up.
No problem when running errands less than 3 hours.
Figured I would deal with it when it got warmer and
I could get under it with some soapy water.
Not so now.
With driver door open, I can hear the compressor run for about a minute
before it stops and lets out a "gasp".
If I let the compressor sit for a while till it's cold,
it still shuts down, ruling out a thermal shutdown.
Don't recall if my iCarsoft scanner can tell me the system pressure and temperature.
Initially I recalled something about a door sensor coming up on the instrument cluster,
but I haven't seen it since.
So my question is: a slow leak has obviously been in progress for a while.
Is it likely that a door sensor coincidentally failed at this point or did the compressor fail
because it got used 2 times every day for several months?
Or has the leak gotten so bad that the compressor just shuts down
because the ECU doesn't register any increase in system pressure?

It's strictly a suspension system fault, with my guess that a leak is so bad that the compressor is stopped because it takes too long for the vehicle to start raising but could be taking too long to see a pressure increase if the compresor is also weak. However with a door open it won't change heights but should level at an existing height, eg access height.

Clear the stored suspension system fault codes with just the ignition on then start the engine then read the suspension fault codes once a suspension fault is shown on the dash.
