hello
I put my defender puma 2.4 on the power bench and I would like to know if it is the power at the wheel or at the engine, because if it is at the engine it would cause me a loss of 40 hp. I have a 150hp remapping

I talk NM of torque so you will need to convert it i guess...
factory figures are 360nm (which i have never seen, guessing thats at the flywheel?)
All my figures are at the wheels on a 4 wheel dyno.
*Stock when i dyno they consistently come up round 330nm
*Once tuned in general I get 430nm (typically 100 extra nm at the same rpm).
*The best if a customer pushes me to do it I have got 470nm
Results will differ due to:
*the dyno machine used (2 wheel, 4 wheel, brand etc)
*temp of the day.
*every engine is different.
*accessories & engine mods.
*km's of engine.
intercoolers, snorkels, turbos, cats, exhausts all have small effects on results.
2.4 and 2.2 figures are the same with the same results.
the end of the day we are still talking about a fairly low tech tractor.

you need to ask the dyno operator if the figures are corrected. the machine reads wheel NM and the software, if corrected, applies a driveline loss calculation. the % of driveline loss is a variable the operator can change. different dynos brands give large variances. long and short, only a before and after reading on the same engine, on the same dyno, with same parameters is directly comparable.

my guess is that is at the wheels, my guess is if you have a 150hp (power) tune and do the math at 2200rpm (at a guess) then that equates to round 480nm of torque which is in the range I gave to you as an example which is at the wheels.
also account for what MLD has mentioned.
(the picture you posted, i cant read the figures)
