Don't have any pics, I cleaned it all up to check where it was coming from but...

This is most likely the vacuum pump?

If so, is it a hard part to replace yourself/myself? Is there anything I should look into/out for if I was to do it myself?

TIA

if a 2.4 the vacuum pump is a simple job as its on top of the water pump, but I doubt thats the cause of the oil leak.
Is it clean oil or a dirty leak? more likely is:
*cracked inlet manifold
*leaking injector seals (the copper seals on the bottom of the injector) which causes a spraying leak from the plastic cam (or rocker cover) cover seals around the injectors where they go through the cover.
*failed intake seals where it bolts onto the cylinder head.
*split intercooler pipe (the one that connects to the intake) its a one piece from intake to intercooler.
*back of the engine is the head temp sensor, that can be prone to leaking.

the Ford engines do tend to be oil leaky as any other engine, it aint that great.

thanks Dazza

The Oil did seem dirty. I'll do a full thorough clean and check to see if I can diagnose if it is one of the other issues you mentioned.

I had this and it was the brake vacuum pump. The underside of the bonnet was a mess!
