Is the MAP sensor a generic item available from Repco et al?
Do I need to stick with genuine, OEM, VDO?

Bosch 0281002205 is what you need if you have a stock or mild tune.

If you are thinking of a tune, an uprated one doesn't hurt though, but it will need calibration by a tuner.
