45mm lift, front propshaft & cross member

I have ordered front springs and shock with a 45mm lift. Do I need to fit a spacer on the cross member immediately? I'm not planning on going off road for a few weeks.

I have 50mm extended brake hoses, I put them in a couple of years ago when I changed to old and flabby ones. Just in case as I did not intend to go down the 50mm lift rabbit hole. I may run the SLS in offroad height intill I get the spacers etc.

I believe the spacers are only needed if you're lifting front wheels.

Off road height will automatically revert at 40 kph, I recalibrate the rear suspension with my Nanocom.

if you have the capability to lift the chassis(only) to get the springs fully extended, you will know if you need the spacers or not.
You can feel if the front drive shaft is hitting on the cross member or not.

When I changed the springs and shocks on the D2,(using longer travel bilsteins) I did get a very slight kissing of front prop onto cross member, but not always.
So got the spacer kit to be safe.

LRA sells them, kinda sorta cheap enough, about 60 for the std plates, or about 100 for the angled version.

I just threw all my laser cut SLS parts out - I had hundreds of them, spacers the lot - I was the first in AU to design an make a kit back in the days of D2AU chat board!
