SDV6 Where Does This Go

Hi Folks,

I removed the A/C Compressor from my SDV6, then I had a medical incident so it has been a few weeks before I got back to it. As a result I've forgotten where a coolant support bracket connects on the body. I took the whole bracket off and can't remember where it connects. Any info appreciated, thanks

Have you tried loosely bolting the correct end to the pipe then look for where the other end might bolt within range?

Workshop manual procedure is seriously lacking in detail but the only thing I could find that looks anything like that bracket is the top one in this pic:

the first pic of the metal coolant pipe attaches to the plastic outlet on the a/c compressor side of the engine.
the second pic is the support bracket for that coolant pipe and it attaches to the front of the power steering pump.

thanks to another forum I have the answer, it is a bracket attached to the power steering pump on the SDV6. Now to try and fit it, should have been done before I put the various cooler & turbo pipes back on! Changing out the A/C compressor is a bastard of a job, one i'm regretting taking on, I'd definitely not do it again. 184533
