Hi all,
We are about to put an order in for a Defender D300 and queried the axle rating - was sent the chart below, thought it would be of interest. I attained through the sales person who I believe sourced it from their respective parts dept.

Are there mechanical differences or is it all spring/shock and sway bar rates?

Who ever gave that info doesn't know their posterior from their elbow....those ratings refer to the previous "classic" Defender (up to 2016 MY).
Try this:
Land Rover iGuide Online
(https://www.ownerinfo.landrover.com/document/3E/2023/1645042/proc/G2932322/G2874221)
1800 kg for the 5 seater 110
1900 kg for the 7 seater 110
Towing is a black art which I do not practice...a few here do so reach out!!

as one iota mentions check the Iguide on axle ratings and GVM, it seems your prospective dealer is
feeding you duff info..

Must have been an early April fools day joke by the sales/parts department. [emoji849]

Go back to the sales person, and order the 130 dual cab, and see what happens.

Yes, it was. Or in my case still is.
The 110 Hi Cap has the same axle capacity and GVM.

They are the UK specs. Different values for the Rest of World.

Thought it was too good to be true, thanks for the correction. Doesn't alter our vehicle choice or towing capacity but good to know for sure.
I have found the whole ordering thing really frustrating with various dealers having various opinions on whats included as standard and what are options, specs, etc, let alone the build site. I know they can't know it all but surely a current reference document for them should be available. As an example, we are unsure if cabin pre-conditioning is standard or optional in the HSE D300? Have emailed LR Au to get an answer and await a reply.
TIA for the vent.
