I'm unable to move either tie rod end at this stage!
The LH tie rod is threaded, but I can't see any thread on the RH tie rod that attaches to the drop bar.
Are they both threaded - one right and one left - to enable adjustment?
Then any suggestions for undoing / unsticking the tie rod ends?
Thanks, Nigel

Heat gun, penetrating oil.

Thank you John.
Do you know if both tie rod ends threaded?
Thanks, Nigel

The same with me a couple of weeks ago, rear bar (tie rod) that is….or is this the track rod…… [emoji2369]
Sprayed with WD40 over night, than used two hammer, one each side of the threaded part of the rod and tapped,banged away…after a couple of rounds of this both freed up when swinging off a set of a pipe wrench

Thanks W&KO. Yes I've got my terminology mixed up.
I'm replacing the dust covers on the track bar (front bar) that attaches to the steering drop bar. I figured I should free up the "track rod" ends whilst I had bar removed from the car.
So, to be sure, are ALL the tie rod AND track rod ends threaded?
Thanks, Nigel

Dont forget that one end is left hand thread and the other end right hand. You will see which one once they start to move.

Just some notes from my experience working on the track rod:-
1. Threads: the passenger side is normal Right Hand thread, the driver side is Left Hand thread;
2. To undo the track rod ends I used penetrating fluid, tapping with 2 hammers and, on 1 end, heat;
3. Assembly: I greased the threads and gave 4 or 5 squirts of oil into the tube for easy dis-assembly next time!
Note: I would guess the tie rod ends are threaded similarly - RH on passenger side.
Thanks for the helpful comments.
