The rear hub kicks out errors, signal voltage too low or similar, I have noticed an oil leak from the hub, and the hub gets very hot!. I have ordered a new rear hub. Any tricks for the unwary? I have replaced a front hub.
TIA

Fitting it is not really an issue, pretty basic mechanics. Problem I had when I changed the hubs was on the drivers side with the length of the supplied ABS lead which was a bit smaller than the stock one.
Did change this to the longer one on the original hub as with the two inch lift etc, seemed compromised, but the length of the sensor into the hub caused the issues of the three Mexican friends appearing. Changed it back to the original supplied and this cured the friends issue but had subsequent frustrations of the sensor pulling out on extension.
This is now cured by taping up the connection and leaving it free from the bracket (this survived some pretty extreme flexing on the last VHC tour. How this pertains to the hub ordered seems to be one of luck as per the sensor and lead length.

I found on RAVE where this is. Under suspension! It looks simpler than the front one. Interesting comment re the 2 inch lift. the downward travel on mine is limited by the 2 inch lift shock. I have to get the o ring.
MLR had the O ring $4 something vs $2 online plus $12 postage!
