OK we have had to re-register our faultmate and then let it do a firmware update. It needed re-registering as the original owner passed away and I've inherited the vehicle with faultmate. I'm trying to put our D4 into tight tolerance mode to have a wheel alignment done.

I've tried following the instructions in the manual, but am not having much luck figuring anything out. I figured the setting I needed was in the suspension module, but every screen I went into I got a message about something not being loaded or available. After 2 minutes of searching around and getting the same message on each menu I went back through the installation guide. I found a spot about putting a TUT code in, but the one on my online profile was rejected.

At that point I thought I'd better turn everything off and have a cuppa before I tossed the computer down the bottom of the back paddock. Then the next drama popped up. The car wouldn't start, wouldn't even cycle through the system checking bit. Just nothing, stone cold nothing. The battery seems to have flattened so I've got her on charge now.

To be frank this is not my area of expertise. The car was my mothers and she knew how to do this stuff. Since inheriting it a couple of years ago I have hesitated to do anything with the diagnostic tool, but need to now to have a wheel alignment done. I have absolutely no idea of what I'm doing with electronics. If anyone can point me in the right direction it'd be very much appreciated.

Car is starting again, flat battery[bigwhistle] Faultmate is still not playing fair, amazing how much you miss a person after relying on them for so long:TakeABow: Kerry would of had it sorted by now.

We've posted this on the Blackbox forum also, hopefully we'll get this sorted so we can use this bloody thing more often.
