Hey All,
some time back I got a 'performance tune' from a Sunshine Coast-based LR workshop. It was basically a NNN ECU with a new map, and although the defender does go much better it blows way too much black smoke. I've just put in a low-km engine and want to sort out a better tune that's not just "tip more fuel in". Since installing the madman EMS2 and seeing the EGT when it's pulling hard...well lets just say it gets very hot very quick.
Been reading about the BAS maps and they seem great but I already have a nanocom and they seem to just offer tunes with their own device. Also see that allisport offer a nanocom-based tune where they send you out the file and you upload it yourself - this is more like what I'm after.
Can anyone suggest alternatives to allisport that do this same nanocom-based map service? Ideally I'd like to get a "daily driver" map and a "towing" one with a bit more torque.
Cheers,
Adam
