This is probably old news to you over there but this says that the Land Cruiser will be getting a ( new to it) 2.8 turbo diesel engine while the V8 stays. No sign of a hybrid or EV version. Just the same solid old fashioned approach that seems to be part of it's attraction. Also "Toyota has not announced definite plans for future models but has hinted that a "big change" is coming as the venerable J70 approaches its official 40th anniversary. "
