iid/key reprogram question D4

My Indy was asking me today if I’ve ever programmed a new transponder using my iid, which I haven’t. He was telling me that his computer will still give him grief with the odd new transponder and has had to get some new transponders programmed by the local JLR dealer.

Has anyone else has this issue?

Later on LR locked the modules to prevent cloning and theft. If they are locked like this, you need to contact Gap and they will load a patch on the tool to resolve.

If like me, you havent updated and locked an earlier unit - then its as simple as following the directions
