View Full Version : Who can Check a LLAMS in Brissie?

I had a battery issue in the D3 and it looks like my LLAMS module may have copped a spike and was causing a few EAS headaches, such as no EAS!

I would like to have it checked out, to see whether it is repairable. It appears to have a few replaceable diodes.

Did you fit the bypass plug when doing diagnostics?

I’d almost say if you did, and it still didn’t clear the errors, that the issue was the loom coming adrift.

Highly unlikely that it spiked.

Umm, no. I wouldn't think that the loom would come adrift while sitting in the shed. I just don't want to go through the process again. I'm finding it more and more difficult to lie down in a footwell and be able to squirm, pivot, hold my head in a certain position, hold a torch and use a tool at the same time.[biggrin]

If it's had a spike then the 5V regular is probably dead in which case the switch LED won't work and therefore best to send it to me for a n/c repair. If its a fairly recent pcb that has a diode and it's blown then it can't cause the switch LED to not work. I'll PM my address.
