LR 53, my 1953 Series 1 80" has been in restoration in Perth for just over 5 years.
On the weekend I get to take her for her first decent drive since taking her off the road for a complete nuts and bolts rebuild.
The photo were taken at Point Resolution reserve, overlooking Fresh Water Bay.

Apart from the Solex 32 PBI-2 carburettor that seems determined to drive me mad, everything else seems to be going well.
There are a few more things left to do, such as the weather seals, but at least she is now drivable.
regards from
Jeff in sunny Perth

What a great looking vehicle, Puts an end to the Paint vs Patina debate once and for all.
