Hi all
Has any experienced their coolant level sensor failing and causing the warning appearing. I have checked the coolant and level all OK

Yes,common problem,often after a system flush.
The genuine reservoir, with float assembly, surprisingly is not that expensive.

Why not just replace the sensor? The part number is PCJ500030 and the geniune part costs around $50 whilst the copy costs around $20.
I've just bought a copy sensor for my MY12 L322 rather than a genuine reservoir costing around $200.
This thread is in the wrong section as the 3.0 TDV6 wasn't fitted to the L322 but the same sensor is used.

its rarely the sensor, the float in the expansion tank becomes saturated with coolant / oil and sits on the bottom of the expansion tank.
and yes this is in the wrong part of the forum

Should I move it to RRS L320 or L494?

It appears that I've wasted $14 as mine's float isn't floating.
Update: the seller kindly cancelled the purchase.

Looking at earlier posts from the OP, it appears it’s an L320 RRS.
I’ll move the thread.

Thanks all. Thanks for moving the thread to correct forum. I obviously don’t know my L320 from my L322
