Hi Blokes,
Now that I have got my 2008 RRS I need to match it up with a reliable diagnostic system, can anyone give me advise on which unit would be the best to purchase please.

Gap tool is by far the best for that era of vehicle.

I'm biased. I like my Faultmate I can do more with it. (I also have two GAP IID tools, a T4, and a Testbook).

Hi Ron
It looks like the honeymoon is over mate, I have been hit with a few FLAGS, so I need a bit of advise from you, if you don't mind.
Such as:-
With the GapTool IID, once purchased is there any other items needed to go with it before using it correctly?
How much mucking around initially would I need to do before I can use it reasonably well enough for general use?
Where would I be best off purchasing this unit?

Once you have downloaded the app and checked for any firmware updates (on a pc) its ready to go, download the manual so you don't go bricking any ECU's on your first use.
