Facebook Marketplace not showing seller's description

Hello All,

Does anyone know how to shift whatever hidden setting or bug is preventing the written descriptions that are normally shown with an item being displayed within Facebook Marketplace?

Shutting down the computer and restarting my computer HP Laptop multiple times has not removed the latest issue. I have searched online for tips and tricks about how to resolve the issue. However, the only examples I came across detailed how to get the Marketplace descriptions showing back on a mobile phone. I am using a laptop computer to access Marketplace.

On another issue - Windows 11 also triggered the inability to cut or paste directly into Microsoft Outlook. Only the old Control based short keys of Ctrl-X and Ctrl-V work to cut or paste into Outlook. Download a latest version of a company's own software and it causes bugs to occur within its own stable mates.

Any hints on how to overcome Microsoft's own 'user-friendliness' would be greatly appreciated. Microsoft rules!

Copy and paste is a bit ordinary however.


EDIT: sorry, macOS Ventura 13.4. Can't help with the windows weirdness....

Hello Tins,

Thanks for the copy of the text. I checked with other items from different sellers and the same no text description repeats itself. Accessing the site via FireFox by the way.

Given that I will try through Explorer and see if it is a common fault in FireFox and Explorer - or whatever Microsoft is calling its search engine lately.

PS. Okay I can see the text description using Microsoft 'Edge' ... It could be some setting gone astray in FireFox then?

I guess it might be the particular build of Firefox. It works for me. These days I mostly use Brave though.

Hello Tins,

As the way things sometimes go... I shut the computer down last night when I called it a night. I started the computer this morning and went into Marketplace as per normal - through Firefox. All things worked as they should.
