R380 problems

Went through deep fresh water river today (definitely submerged the gearbox) and now after going though it my car makes a weird rapid knocking noise only when in neutral. Also extremely hard to get into 1st and reverse! Any ideas would be greatly appreciate

Drop the oil and inspect as a priority

I agree with Patrick re the inspection, but my gut feeling is that it's a clutch throwout lever issue.... But gut feeling only.
