Yes my fellow AULROIANS, I Stevo68 have a confession to make. Yes it has been almost 5 weeks since my last camping trip :o , almost 7 weeks since my last proper offroading :o and I am having impure thoughts. I am lusting for the feeling of my black beasty gliding its way through muddy bogholes, dreaming of climbing rocky and shaley tracks, white knuckled but adrenilin pumping. Reminiscing about cold beers around a fire, laughter and mines bigger than yours, tyres of course  , diesel versus V8, before stumbling off to nestle down in my sleeping bag with the sounds of my brats snoring :) . Ohhhhh how I yearn, and Im not talking any brokeback mountain type of yearning either ;) . Just a yearning to be out with mother nature and good company.
Talking of good company half those buggers are down at Coffs right now, my missus gives me a bell from her sisters place to let me know that she is going out (read: one to many bacardi breezers), and Im left at home playing super nanny. No wonder I have to confess .
Ah I feel better now, confessions off chest now, back to the brats. Phew thank god for cold beer and at least a fireplace :D
Regards
Stevo

Mate I feel for ya, up north of Hope Vale last week, and I dont want to wash my bush shirt, cause it still smells of the campfire, rum, and slightly of fish-( edit-barra or both).

To try and apease the hunger, I went to the local camping store to see if they had any 4by videos, nope  so am going to settle and I use the word loosely, for watching the Camel Trophy again :D . Hey captn are you coming to Fraser next mth?? Hope the new addition is doing well.
I dont want to wash my bush shirt, cause it still smells of the campfire, rum, and slightly of fish-( edit-barra or both). I think reading that just made things worse :) , didnt even think of the smells, maybe if I go stand by my fireplace with a brew in hand that may ease the "itch",

Great, check up on the GCLRO board and see that the people that went down to Coffs had a FANTASTIC time, off roading, trials and tribulations, fun galore. Only makes the "quickening" worse ( hmm wonder how many will get that one :) ), next time I go out dont know if it will be in the D3, a D2 or a Fender yet either :o , whatever the vehicle, I need to get my fix :D

From what I've read on the forum the D3 is so good when you downgrade you might have to learn how to drive offroad again

No matter what vehicle your in remember, There can be only 1. I thought someone would clue into the reference, luckily I am on holy ground atm  . Have you got the disc yet?? I posted it last week.
Even though my business is starting to take off, I will probably still sell my beasty, and you are both probably right will have to take some off road lessons again :D , I wont be able to just dial up terrain, flick a few switches and off I go by the sounds of it
