TD5 type centrifugal oil filter for other applications...

Mike from Britrest posted a vid today about using a centrifugal filter on his parts washer... Got me thinking about whether it would be a good idea for my older engines, such as a 300TDi or my old Perky. There have been a few discussions on here about remote mounting oil filters for access reasons, and I wonder if a centrifuge could be added at the same time.
