Wiper blade replacement.

OK, whats the trick to doing the wiper blades in my L320?
Is there a way of getting the arm to stay "up"??
I've RTFM and had no joy.
I've tried pressing the ignition button, then the wiper stalk down, but no good.
What am I missing???

Hold wiper stalk all the way down
Press start button (no foot on brake)
