Hi Brains trust,
I've booked my Freelander 2 Si6 (3.2 6 cylinder) in for a 140 k service at a well established LR specialist shop in Melbourne. They are quoting circa $1250 as it needs a service and spark plugs.
Now, unfortunately, I am not technically competent and I feel this sounds a tad excessive. I'd appreciate some feedback as to whether this cost is justifiable or not? [bighmmm]

I was about to reply earlier until I saw what motor you have and I've never seen one!
Most seem to be the 2.2 diesel.
I could make a case for the diesel maybe costing that, but $1250 does seem expensive.

Thanks for your response. That’s a fair comment about the lack of 3.2’d out there.

Which specialists shop?
If it’s Ritters they do a good job but very overpriced.

Thanks for that. I'm taking it back to Eastern Ranges who have always worked on it. Long story as to why I was looking elsewhere. Noting to do with their service just our companies crazy return to the office rules! But flexibility prevails!
