Hi, have an 89 RRC which has had a 300tdi dropped in before I owned it. I have just gone to do an engine oil change and noticed a missing plug (pic below)

Is this just the wading plug?
Thanks :-)

Yes that's were one of the the wading plugs goes, the other is is in the bottom of the timing belt housing.
The wading plugs should only be fitted when playing deep water, and be removed the rest of the time.

That's IF your wading plugs are still there or in the vehicle when you purchased it.
I've looked at hundreds of Rangies, Discos and Defenders over the years and the number of times I've seen wading plugs in the vehicle or fitted I can count on half of one hand. [bigrolf]
