A simple thing made difficult

Finally stopped procrastinating today and changed my leaking rocker cover gaskets with some nice composite ones.

Nice and straightforward if it weren't for the immovable object in the engine bay that is the plenum chamber. :mad: No way was that bad boy coming off so after much dismantling of everything around it I finally gain access to the rocker cover. These new gaskets better last a bloody long time, I'd rather not have to go to that amount of effort to change something so simple in the near future.

Removal of the plenum chamber isn't that difficult but it does slow access.

It's difficult when the allen key threatens to shear in two trying to undo it!

have been told once an of an easy way to get the plenum chamber off, but can't remember now :wasntme:

would be interested to know if there is a easy way :)

Put a match in the fuel tank that'll get the damm thing off
