Not sure of the the full answer Pedro...

But I can tell you a 4.0l P38A in ringwood recently was faster than a certain Charcoal 4.0l 2000 DII from a standing start at the lights:p:p

........ but I was trying..... not really....

The road goes from 2 lanes to 1 straight after the lights.... he certainly got the jump on me.... so I backed off.

...you know, the I'll keep my dignity and try and look like I wasn't trying move...:p

lucky you weren't racing for ownership.

Forget sports mode go low range and manual mode. The race is only up to 60kph anyway

O.k that would be mud racing not quarter mile.

Just out of interest how fast could you get in low range?

A split diff would be nice, now wouldn't it.

I'm sure some one will "know",,

In low range my max is 60-65. but thats on a flat road. Add hills and dirt and it doesn't get that high.

Thats a tough one pedro, i would have to lean towards the D3 but am unsure cause of its weight. You forgot to mention the supercharged RRS. :D

Why not 4.6 p38. Mine still goes pretty well after putting 32" muddies on it.:(

Not sure of the answer Pedro but I know that there's a group of young guys in a Missinbitsy Lancer that need driving lesons, the rangie kicked ****. Petty they didn't see the guy with the seeing eye dog when I did. :)
I wonder what the fine was for doing that fast in a 70 zone.

I guess the cop must have thought better of trying to explain a rangie drag racing to the boss.

Land Rover wins again:)
