Opened the protection underbody and found oils this area. Anyone can tell where this oil come from or where does it leak from? Thanks

I can see its dripping when the engine run without the underbody plate. The underbody plate was wet of oil when I took it off. I am not sure how much oil lost but 2 weeks ago I notice the oil level drop 1 bar then I top it up and on Monday the oil level drop 1 bar again.

The oil cooler on TDV6 does this when it fails filling up the valley which sloshes back.

Alternatively the vacuum pump which is behind the drivers side overhead cam above this area.

Just been through a complete circus chasing the same issue on my LR4.

Nearly always the leak is located at the top of the block, I believed otherwise because I had replaced the oil cooler and fitted new O ring to the filter housing. I had a continuous engine oil trickle which I observed laying on my back under the car which appeared to be coming from the brake vacuum pump. This was a bad assumption.

Further observation revealed oil in the engine valley which was flowing down both sides of the bell housing.

Just as well I am a hoarder I had not tossed the original oil filter housing when I replaced the oil cooler. Fitting the old component resolved the oil leak, obviously the new unit had developed a crack which opened up when subjected to heat.

Hope your fix is as easy.
