Hi All,
Ive a friend recently bought a L322 .
I ran the fault reports etc with my IIDtool and it says it has a 6 speed transmission and the 8 Speed is NOT fitted.
The car is 8 speed.
Can anyone suggest why the tool does not recognise the 8 speed transmission please.

I wonder if someone has played with the CCF? The GAP tool will be reading it. Extract the CCF from the car using the Gap tool and compare it with the as built CCF. Easy enough to correct and fix a few little anomalies as well, such as speedo reading etc.

Hi from memory this was a glitch with the gap tool as mine also 8 speed reads as a 6 speed..
i wouldnt be to concerned🙂
