My daughter has a 300 tdi 90. She phoned to say that the dip lights had gone but all others were working. Naturally enough I diagnosed the main on/off light switch. So she removed the steering cowl to check which switch she needed as there are two different connectors depending on year. She bought the correct switch and fitted it...no joy, problem persisted. So she got her mechanic to look at it. Turned out to be a burnt out wire which he fixed for her. He charged £40 (77AUD) which is a fair enough price. Must get a relay fitted to the light system.
The object of this post being that she changed the switch herself. She is pretty hands on Land Rover wise[thumbsupbig]

Clever girl. You should shout her one of Tim's headlight kits (https://traxide.com.au/products/defender-headlight-driving-light-wiring-upgrade-kit/) for Christmas.
