Hello, I need a pair of the rear sway bar links. LR has only one in the country at $390.00. Are Lemforder any good? Lemforder look good after a search. Who is or was the OEM?
A slightly cheaper manufacturer is Meyle, who supplied parts to Tesla. Both of these are German companies.
I have a 50mm lift, do I buy longer ones? if so, what do I look for.
TIA

Lemforder and Meyle are both high quality manufacturers.
In some instances they are original makers of parts for D2s.

No problem with the 50mm lift? Are there longer versions?
I am gobsmacked at the price between the OEM and LR.

I had stock lenght links in my TD5 with a 3" lift and ace.
No issues, but I only do very mild offroading, staying on roads in bad condition.

Put in the TF220 set, just as I was going to replace the old links anyways.
Partnumbers for the longer links, if You don't want to pay terrafirma extra,
are, as a Delphi brand, TC986 and TC1818.

Can't remember whuch is front and rear.

Couldn't find the partnumbers when I was doing this so I resorted to the Terrafirma kit.

Can't see any reason to go for the genuine on these, even in stock lenght.

The TC986 comes up as front for the D2 and the TC1818 comes up as the front for the D3/D4. Both are in the UK or USA, so I'll get the Lemforder ones.

Put d3 front links in the front and d2 front links in the back

I have replaced the RH side one due to failure. I used a Meyle. So far so good. It survives a grueling crossing of the Simpson desert.

I have a 2 inch lift with ACE.

Bohica, do you have ACE?

No ACE, just the manual SLS and 50mm spacers on the rear.
One day I will put in the SLS loom and the compressor. One day, just like Superfast Matt!
I put in the Meyle ones. I think that with the lift, the sway bar angles down a bit, but the anti sway aspect stays the same.
You need a 19mm spanner with these. Busy day today as I changed the LHS rear door lock actuator. Isn't that fun!
