Hello All,
After at least three days of searching without any breakthroughs ...
Somewhere within the deepest, darkest recesses of a shipping container, an arm was raised triumphantly towards the sky. Then broke forth light and then sound, as the long sought for impact wrench was found; and the reunion was joyously celebrated.
Plus, factor in a happy dance. As no one could see me inside the shipping container.
Some months ago I had been doing a job and then had to leave it as domestic duties were called in as being due. Then other distractions occurred until eventually on Friday I went to where my battery operated impact wrench is normally kept. Not a single trace of it. The memory was then scanned for mental images of the last job I worked on using the impact wrench. The result was that only echoes and spider-webs and the sound of breeze blowing through a vacuous area was returned. So, the hunt had begun. Then not that long ago Eureka!
The funny part is that while the impact wrench did partially loosen the nuts and bolts that I had sprayed with lanolin penetrant last Thursday. After the impact wrench reached its limit I had to revert to a long-handled ratchet bar to complete undoing the nuts and bolts. Anyway. what was lost has been found. That is the most important thing.
Kind regards
Lionel
