Roof bar extensions

I have looked at a couple of threads on fitting roof bar extensions but the all seem to fizzle before providing any detail. I have the head liner out and ready to rock and role but need to make sure I am putting the hole in exactly the right spot. Thanks.

When I fitted mine ( new from
dealer) I had no probs with the instructions.

If I happen to still have the supplied special tool will post here.

You can eyeball it if you want to.
The centre point of the reinforcement in the roof is where the holes go.

Thanks Guys. I made up a copy of the LR tool and sorted it. Unfortunately LR buggered up in the manufacture of my car so the left rear mount is about 4mm too shallow - so I had to grind away the mounting point on the bar itself. Worked though. I am about to drive it off a cliff as I officially hate the thing at the moment.
