got this idea from LR TIME, the pins make me feel more secure, only using on one side , I  turned up 4, out of 65 dia. bar and turned down 20mm gr 8 bolts, price of steel is absurd

You got a scrapyard close by?  Odd bits of steel and old hydraulic cylinder rods can be picked up cheap if you find a local place where the owner likes cash. [emoji106]
There’s one 5 minutes from work who’ll let me rat around and pay cash for bits I like the look of that are an order of magnitude cheaper than new.

not around here, my sons are electrical fitter,s they have tonnes scrap but they just forget, i did get some tapered roller bearings 60mm,, on the max D but they will not drill unless annealed, they do turn though
I am pretty  pleased after 6 years running a 3ph. genset, i imported voltage convertors from China, run my 12 hp lathe,my grunter MIGS 450 amp and the hoist
