I have seen a number of comments that DBA can provide Brake drums for our Series 1 vehicles at reasonable prices, , but they do not provide a part number on their web site.
Does anyone know what DBA drums fit our Series 1?
I'm also interested in Bendix , Repco or any others that can provide 10" Brake drums and brake shoes for our vehicles.

Hi Jeff.
I fitted DBA 10 inch Drums to my S3 Daily. Larger stud holes.
All Drums needed machining before fitting. One still has a warp.
Only one fixing screw. Pic showed 3 like original.
I believe they are just reboxing Overses Items.
They work well with heavy brakes locking up the wheels.
I think the came from Sparesbox.
Land Rover Series 1 & 2 Part number: 591661 for earlier drums from AU Land Rover suppliers.

I doubt whether any drums are made locally so as whitehillbilly found out, they will just be re-boxing aftermarket drums. Probably the same drums you'd get from any of the Land Rover parts suppliers.
Checked a couple of UK suppliers and they list 'reproduction' drums, sometimes in the dreaded blue box.
The single fixing screw has been prevalent on aftermarket drums (Indian) for some time. I guess it saves a few Rupees in the production cost. It's arguable whether three is overkill.

The screws are really only to hold the drum in place while you fit the wheel and tighten the wheel nuts.
