Just pulled the 4bd1 out for a bit of a tidy up and found that the radiator fins simply disintegrate to the touch. Radiator still doing its job well and doesn't loose a single drop but time for rebuild or replacement.

I am located in Sydney, can anyone please recommend best long term quality option and recommend good radiator re core bloke or off the shelf item - prefer staying with brass.

I was talking to the blokes at KLR some time back. They used to get Perentie radiators recored but the bloke who did them retired and closed up shop earlier this year.

They are now getting radiators manufactured. I don't know if these will fit a 4BD1 County.

They have genuine 6x6 radiators in stock.

I just rang Brad at KLR and he can't see any reason why the Perentie radiator wouldn't fit the 4BD1 County.

I guess it would be better to physically compare the two before geting one shipped. At least trustycounty lives reasonaably close to South Windsor so it's not an impossible task to take the County radiator to KLR to compare the two.

Either way, yes or no, it would be a good thing to know and to put on KLR's website.
