Seem to be switched off globally....
as in there are no comments or the ability to comment on any video.

and google's not much help at all.

can you delete and reload youtube?

Working for me as well. Are you logged in? If so try the old logout/login trick.

Oh, are you using a browser or an app? You can def delete the app. Your details are remembered by the platform, not your device. You'll have to jump through some ID check hoops.

Even though I've ( the world??) been watching youtube on PC and laptop for years,,
Its not designed for windows.
There is no "Official" youtube app for windows.
Play store doesn't "see" my laptop for the Official youtube app.

windows has some sort of virtualisation mode that tricks it into thinking Hey I'm an Android device!
which is why youtube come preloaded on purchase I suppose.

and yes thats switched on...
