The tag has broken off the temperature sender on my County.

All Four X 4 can't supply, and KLR are off until the 8th.

Does anyone know if it is worth trying Repco etc when I am in town, and if so, does anyone have a part number or know if they are likely to have a listing of the right part.

Here is a post from an earlier article in AULRO regarding sender unit from this it states it fits County versions also. I would be supprised if Bursons, Repco, Supercheap or the likes can’t get you one.

Picked up a new VDO temperature sender from the local instrumentation shop today.
VDO P/N 320.002; 40-120 degree range, 1/8-27NPT thread, 1/2" AF hex, pin connection. $15 all up. Didn't have my original with me, but based on the stamping so on the hex flats the parts guy is 99.9% certain it's the goods.
For the small dollars involved worth replacing just to benchmark it.

I got one of these today, off the shelf from Repco. We'll see in due course whether it is the right one. $25. On line price I had found - $53 plus freight.

If you get stuck I've got a few I picked up at the army auctions with some other stuff. VDO 320.002. Happy to send you one for the price of postage.

Thanks, but I now have this one I got yesterday. All I have to do is to fit it. Still a bit sore from having a bit cut off my back yesterday, so it might be a few days.
