Hi folks!
Just a couple of days ago the Puma engine on my 2013 LandRover 130 started running hot. I’m talking CHT into 90s. I had driven into Darwin when I noticed the issue.
The coolant level is fine. I drove the vehicle carefully keeping to less than 2000 rpm and blasting the air heater, which enabled me to drive three hours home keeping the CHT at below 85. But my handbrake felt really hot, almost too hot to touch, something it had not been previously.
Any ideas as to why my engine temperature would suddenly jump like that?
Thermostat issues?
Radiator needs a flush?
Any ideas appreciated
Alan
