SEQ Long Tan : Lawnton

Gday All ,
Just a quick reminder that Saturday out at Lawnton Showgrounds there is going to be the Long Tan events marking 40 years since the battle.

According to Uncle Ho there is to be the Veitnam Vets mesuem display, a concert on Saturday night and few period vechicles to name a few. Likely to see an ACCO, Mutt,Studdie and a few of us REMLR blokes with various landies,i.e Workshop,Perentie, etc....

And if your in the city on Friday around 11-12 there will be the main remembrance parade.

All are welcome to come out...after all it's the 40th of one of Australia's greatest battles....

Yup! Lawnton Showgrounds--Strathpine on Friday and Saturday, with Saturday the main display day, the Brisbane march steps off at Midday from Cnr George & Elizabeth Sts down George, into Adelaide St to Anzac Sq. then the commoration service, then back to Lawnton.
