7 seat versus 5 seat

the TD6 car im lookin to buy has 7 seats. i have no use for these back seats .

is there a "kit" to convert the space to something really useable ??

i cant find anything on this forum about that and UK forums mostly talk about changing 5 to 7 so i guess its possible

im interested if anyone locally has done this and if i can simply fit the storage bins etc from a wrecked 5 seater (if i can find one). does anyone know if the discovery sport (4 cyl) bits fit??

Im aware of the need for a mod plate to change seating capacity

if anyone reading this has a 5 seater, i'd really appreciate a couple of pics of the bins or whatever is in there

I have a 5 seater. There is a lot of space under the false floor. It is a foam tray which I have left in place for sound deadening.

I made a new false floor - it is a simple rectangle - with extra tiedown points.

The space underneath holds a lot of "stuff". In my case I have installed an ARB twin compressor with a pressure tank and the Compressor Controller Module plus a 120 Ah auxiliary battery and DC/DC-Solar charger.

And the niche on the passenger side holds the ARB compressor hose bag with the hoses and stuff and a box with ratchet tie downs.
