Hi all would anyone with a Puma 130 please be able to take a photo for me, I need a side view of the rear diff that shows the angle of the diff pinion relative to horizontal and to the propshaft, probably best taken from in front of the rear wheel looking across toward the opposite rear wheel. If it's easier to text me the photo than to post it here, PM me to get a phone number. Thanks in anticipation.
ps the Puma has a different rear diff to earlier models and the 130 will have a different propshaft angle due to length, so thanks to other owners but really needs to be Puma 130

What about a late TD5? They have the same rear diff.
Could be a different length tailshaft I guess due to the MT82?

just some info...
the last of the TD5 Defender had a P38 rear diff (i think from about 2003/4 - 2006ish).
the 2007 - 2016 TDCi Defender had a P38 rear diff.
the 2007 - 2016 TDCi Defender has it's transfer case 70mm further back than previous models.
and oddly enough I dont have a 130 TDCi currently in my workshop, a few days ago yes, in a week or so prolly yes.

Yes I'm sure that would be close enough, the slightly different position at the front of the long tailshaft shouldn't make much difference to the rear UJ angle for my purposes.

So both propshafts are different length on a puma vs earlier?

Not a great pic, but there is basically no angle at the Uni.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240223/dbcbdc6862fca60ee2146c970a9a7081.jpg
