Anybody have any experience with iCheck TPMS?
iCheck Tyre Pressure Monitoring System – 10 Sensor Kit | Outback Equipment (https://www.outbackequipment.com.au/icheck-tyre-pressure-monitoring-system-ic010)

I started off with the original ARB system (pictured) but it was limited to four external sensors. Worked fine and I like how discrete it was. But I upgraded to the newer system to accommodate the TVan tyres. Also added a signal booster. But I could never get the booster to work properly and the wheel sensor batteries failed early (but it may have been on the shelf during Covid). But the real bugbear is the display control which cycles through its programs by a button and corresponding beeps. Two seconds for this, three seconds for that, seven seconds to reset. That sort of stuff. It's so frustrating and often you just have to give up and restrain yourself from flinging the bloody thing out the window.
And the beeps. Oh! The beeps. The on-going never relenting constant beeping when it doesn't like something.
Look. I'm off for my therapy session.
But in the meantime, I saw the iCheck system today and it looks promising. I don't want the Safety Dave or similar system as I don't want an industrial display bolted to the D4 dash. I was thinking of putting the Safety Dave display in the glovebox (I have a dual voltmeter display in there and it's not a problem to open the glovebox and have a quick peek in there, so another display would be no problem). But I like the idea of the wireless display that I could pop on the dash (probably velcro to the centre speaker cover) whenever I wanted.

My iCheck TPMS is about a year old. It has been excellent and saved me a tyre already.

It has never needed charging and does the van and the car with no extender.

Scanning of the spares or van or both can be stopped. Any button cancels the alarm beep.

The new ones have a different way of setting the pressure limits which sounds very good. It appears that you just get the tyre to the pressure you want then screw on the sensor which automatically sets alarm points +25% and -15%.

Australian web site and phone number. I bought from the icheckTPMS web site.

I recon that they are good value.

cheers, Peter

Thanks all. Decision made.
Now I want to get one of those rear spare wheel bags for rubbish and stuff. Again for the D4 with the Rijidij spare wheel carrier. So I need clear access to the handle.
I liked DaveD2's on our trip. It was really handy and probably still has my sneakily put rubbish in it!
Any recommendations or warnings?

Do these things have a maximum operating pressure? Can't see one.

Thanks. I didn't look at the image because my phone screen is too small or my eyes are too feeble...

87 is heaps.

I've got the iCheck and the best bit about it is the pressure setting feature or lack of it in fact. Because it just uses a percentage of what you blow up or let the tyre down too and uses that for the baseline is brilliant. I had 4 TPMS before and this is the best so far.

I saw the one Tombie posted. Does it use the percentage difference method?

Hey mate get the MSA rear wheel rubbish bag, Australian made lifetime warranty. Which I tested. I broke a buckle on the 8 year old MSA rubbish bag, rang warranty looking for a new buckle asked for my address and said leave it with us a few days later a whole new bag rocked up. Awesome gear.
