Engine Oils for 3.0 L D4

What are your thoughts on using 5w-40 oil for a D4 @ 240000 kms?

I've used Penrite HPR 5W/40 (fully synthetic) since the D4 passed 150,000km. Previously used Penrite 5W/30 as recommended.

I'm at 240k on my 2.7 and went to 5W40 Penrite at 200k.
