Hi does anyone have any experience using the adapter kit available from Melbourne for this?
Bellhousing adapter
Special flywheel
Supplied special clutch and pressure plate
Fitting an LS1 to an R380 from a Discovery1 V8 Petrol 3.9.
The input shaft splines seem to be too far away from the supplied clutch disc splines for proper engagement. It only meshes a few mm.
Seems like it would be fine if the clutch disc splines were about 20mm further towards the gearbox.
Anyone had any experience with this manual kit to make LS1 work?
