Just got MTR's fitted to my disco... so i'm ready to come out and play, almost anyway, just waiting for them to order a spare in and fit it... they only ordered 4 insted of 5, seeing as the new tyres are about 1 1/2 inchs bigger than my old ones i reckon i may need the spare as well! Also reckon i should test for rub at full articulation and trim the fenders if needs be before i hit any proper rough stuff.
i did just try them out down taylors lane off of thompsons rd (a lane full of mud south west of melbourne for those playing at home!) and managed to drive straight through a section i got bogged in with my AT's so happy days.
i'm not that experienced an off roader but if anyone is goin on a trip near melbourne that you reckon i might be able to handle and you don't mind me tagging along let me know!
thanks

Sounds good but how about a pic or two? What actual size were they? I've just had a nasty shock when I fitted 31x10.50R15 Centipedes to my Disco (no lift). All went well till I took them off road and got some articulation going - I now own two crumpled rear quarter panels. :(

Congrats macey. The MTRs are a good tyre.

You will have to change your sign off now that you have muddies!

Hey Macey, I know that stretch of road, I live just off McCorrmicks Rd in Carrum Downs, Blue 110 Fender, maybe we have crossed paths. Will be off to Gembrook in a couple of weekends for a light run and then a stop over at Noojee at the Trout Farm to pick up a couple of Fresh Smoked Trout, I'll send you a PM if you are interested......;)
