Well I would like to send money to Inc for the great site we enjoy but I'm not willing to send money and be a site sponsor until the dick-head that is continually trying to hack my computer only on this site ceases for at least 3 months.
This person is continually shutting down my Internet Explorer only when on this site and I'm not paying money until the intellectually disabled person stops.

IF I HAVE ****ED SOMEONE OFF WITH A POST BE A MAN AND SEND A PM.
HACKER GET STUFFED !

That's a pain.

send a PM to Incisor and he might be able to help with your particular issue....he has had to deal with hacking on this site before.

you probably have a corrupted cookie or cache... or a bho installed that is tripping IE over.

no one can be trying to hack you thru the site.... i know all the content and it is safe...

easy fix, get a decent browser like firefox or opera....

Why do people always say that i use IE both here and on the computers at school and, touchwood, never have a problem with it.

I just got to internet options and under temporary internet files do the following;

1) delete cookies regularly
2) delete temporary files regularly
3) go to settings and set the amount of memory to 10mb
4) click the first setting up the top in the setting box which is 'everytime i visit this page' or something.

Not a problem since is did that. Matt

Matt sometimes you don't realise there is something better until you try it...

I use both IE and Firefox.... at work the guys have to code for IE and 90% of the network I look after is Microsoft based... so I have to use IE. Some time back I tried Firefox at home.... it has slowly become my browser of choice... I still have both - and use both on all my PC's.... but first choice is always Firefox now... It really is that good...

Ace, youre assuming its XP,

8 years old,, '98 maybe??

either way craig,, buy yourself a new one,, plenty of members will build one to your specs or sell you one prebuilt.

MUCH more fun to DIY:twisted:

Ace thanks and yes he would be right with the running system.
Its still happening but now easily manageable. Only takes 1 sec instead of 4 - 5 min.

Me too

and to LoadedDisco:

The linking of site sponsorship to an 8 year old operating system is a long straw  after all it wasn't made by Land Rover...8 years ago Land Rover was made by Land Rover in the meantime BMW and Ford have and are having a go....and yet we stay faithful and still subscribe.

Don't worry I will pay my dues very soon now the problem is only a small 1 sec alteration now and then. I have been having this problem only with this site since we changed from the old site. Weired.
But in a week Inc will see some fund injection.

Thanks all for your input and Ace you have saved the computer from a few hundred holes. Could not see a better way to assure my old hard drive security if I was going to upgrade and it would also be a lot of fun.
