Replacing headlight lens on 2008 L322 - any tips?

Hi. My headlight lens are beyond repair. So, I've bought some nice new ones from a lovely man in China. Has anybody baked their headlights and removed and refitted the lenses? If you have, any tips would be very welcome. I hear 85 degrees is about right but beyond that I'll be flying blind.

Question is if new lens have any UV protection.
