not a bad prize for watching a bit of TV:beer:. A big thanks to the boys at THE 4X4 SHOW.:arms::arms:WHOOPEEEEE !!!!
I just hope they can afford the postage to Wollongong.
Now all I have to do is get the big red ball to stop at my place:D

Well it's been 9 months since I won the major prize on The 4X4 Show and I'm still waiting for part of the prize to be delivered. I received an email in August 06 to say I had won, I then received a parcel in October with everything but the Bead locks.

I contacted Ray at the show and he said he would chase it up, which he did, Ray was told by Staun that the bead locks were being re-designed and that they would send them out asap.

In December I contacted Ray again and told him that I had changed address, to send the bead locks to the new address. Ray was surprised that I still hadn't received them and said he would find out what was happening and apologized for the delay. Ray contacted staun and was again told by Staun that the bead locks were out of stock and would be sent out when available.

On the 4th May I contacted Ray again and told him that I still hadn't received the bead locks, Ray apologized again and said that he had been assured on more than one occasion that they had been sent.

Ray sent Staun an email on the 6th of May informing them that I'm still waiting for the bead locks, Ray also forwarded me a copy as well. Anyway I'm still waiting, I'm not cheesed off with the 4x4 show because they have made every effort to remedy the situation. And I wish the 4x4 show all the best for the next series.

But I'am cheesed off with staun because they haven't once attempted to contact me to say there was a problem or apologize or anything.

Man that sucks! Its pretty poor form of Staun...you might have great products but without good customer service you wont get anywhere!

I may be wrong but I would have thought it was up to the 4x4show to make sure a prize existed (if not actually be in their posession) before auctioning/raffling it? Isn't what happened to you a bit like being told you've won a summer cruise but you can't go because the boat is fully booked?

Geez that sucks. I won a prize on 4wdTV and the first thing I knew about it was when it arrived in the mail. I missed the show that they read the names out on but I got the prize the same week the show aired.

and then demanding a whole bunch of other stuff just because they stuffing you around ,and you dont want to have to write a letter to the 4x4 magazines on how you have been treated for winning the prize ,,,i say milk them mate,, 9mnths is rediculous,,,,its about the same lenghth of time which gets you in trouble:wasntme:

Thats poor form from Staun. It is also the sort of thing that will hurt the show.
I would contact Staun directly and if no luck within 2 weeks then send an Email to all the 4wd mags in Aus as well as join all the various forums and post up their lack of customer care.
