I gave a lift in the Defender to a member of the GREEN PARTY who does not own a car (you can guess why). Funnily enough he had no issues in accepting a lift in a diesel Defender.

I hope you had it fumigated afterwards!

I thought Green was part of the fabric of some in your neck of the woods Spud?

The Brown party might be a worry[biggrin] Not a green , blue gray or other shade of that type of bias myself[thumbsupbig]

Not owning a car might be a coin saver plus. More likely a time kick plus unless rescued by others like you mate[thumbsupbig]

Despite what the GREEN PARTY think vehicle owners ship is a necessity. A hearing test for my daughter means a 100 mile round trip. I hear part of their new strategy is to have car free days in towns. Bit difficult if that car free day coincides with my daughter's hearing test....
