View Full Version : Air spring woes.

The LHS spring is losing air. Still on manual, it leaks from the 4mm 6mm adapter. I replaced the metal adapter wirh a plastic Uxcell adapter, it leaks faster. What other options are there for a 4mm 6mm adapter? There could be leaks in the hoses and the airbag, I'll swap those over tonight.
UPDATE
Well, I have gone to the car after work and there is no leak. When I filled the airbag this morning, I pushed the hoses in and rotated the connector. Maybe the hoses were not fully home, unlikely, or there was dust on the hose(s) In any case the problem has gone.

Why do you have a 4 to 6mm adapter? Mine just has 4mm pipe throughout.

There are plastic prongs, I am replacing my three way push in at the pump with these for better fitment / reliablity - such as this

I am yet to install the compressor. These are filled via a 6mm push fit Schrader valve.
Those barbed adapters are what I was looking at.

Got the 4mm version of these and had to pull them apart and applied more than a few winds of teflon tape. What was there was virtually nil and they leaked more than a little.190079
They appear to be more than fine now with no bubbling coming when doused in a cup
